About the creator
Whitney Thompson is a yogurt commercial star (no, really), occasional game show contestant, and outgoing masters student in the Department of Communication Studies and Multimedia at McMaster University. She created Project Indigo for her masters dissertation. She previously obtained her bachelor's in English literature from the University of Oklahoma (apparently, moving to Canada is what you do with a BA in English).
Whitney's previous multimedia projects include screen/window/mirror, a reflection on 1990s pop culture and millennial nostalgia, and Lucy Audley's Secret, a modern-day adaptation of the Victorian novel Lady Audley's Secret told entirely through Twitter and Instagram. Her other work has appeared in American Twilight, BirdeeMag, and the OU Daily. When she isn't dressing up as a superhero, she can usually be found leading the storytelling team for Swing Left, wandering around the greater Toronto area, or inhaling coffee.
